  • Oct. 29: 2:00-3:00 pm EST — Online webinar: Jono Tunney: Beyond Fama and French – Value, Size, Momentum and Short-Term Reversal — Index tracking vehicles, either via mutual funds or ETFs, have become extremely popular in recent year. However, there is potentially a more intelligent way to capture incremental risk/reward benefits by diversifying into “alternative beta” products. These products follow simple rule-based investment strategies that have shown to outperform buy-and-hold indexing strategies over time. Since inception in 2005, Atlas Capital has offered enhanced index portfolios via factor model analysis. Value, size, momentum and short-term reversals are the factors used. After an overview of enhanced indexing, our presentation will go into the academic studies showing these four factors as reliable sources of bias.
